👩‍💻 What You’ll Do

  • Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated test suites for both client-side applications and backend APIs.
  • Client-Side Testing: Prioritize client side applications using tools like Playwright or Cypress to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Backend API Testing: Design and execute tests for RESTful APIs using frameworks like REST Assured or Postman.
  • Performance and Security Testing: Collaborate with the team to integrate performance and security testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Test Strategy: Define and implement test strategies, plans, and frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, define test cases, and resolve issues.
  • CI/CD Integration: Ensure tests are seamlessly integrated into the CI/CD pipelines for consistent and reliable releases.

💡 What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Proven track record in testing client-side applications and backend APIs.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in testing frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
  • Experience with REST Assured or similar tools for API testing.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is a plus.
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.

Testing Methodologies: Deep understanding of test-driven development (TDD), behavior-driven development (BDD), and exploratory testing.

Soft Skills: Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Appium.
  • Experience with Chaos-Testing.
  • Knowledge of contract testing (e.g., Pact).
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
